WHO ARE WE?

Solheim Landscaping is a professional full service design build landscape company providing services for residential and commercial projects.  Our service area includes Northeast Iowa and surrounding communities throughout Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois. 

Matt Solheim started Solheim Landscaping out of Castalia, a small town in Northeast Iowa near Postville, West Union, and Decorah.

Solheim Landscaping has an excellent and knowledgeable TEAM ready to take on your project. We also have the tools and resources necessary to complete a wide variety of landscaping from small to complex larger scale projects.

Solheim Landscaping will provide you with more than your expectations. From the start--with a unique design, to the finish--with our well known attention to detail and quality installation, you will see that quality service is the specialty of Solheim Landscaping!

FEATURED PROJECT
In the Fall of 2009 we completed a unique project in Ft. Atkinson, IA.  Our customer was building a new home that would have a log cabin style appearance with tall glass windows on the front overlooking the valley below.  There was an 8' slope that needed to be retained by a wall.  We wanted the wall to look natural and fit in with the style of the house.  Many types of manufactured blocks were looked at but none were quite as unique as what we used below--natural stone from the nearby rock quarry.

So, the stone went from here...

...To here!!! 

The main challenge was the fact that every piece of stone was a different size and shape!   Thanks to our crew's hard work the end result looks very awesome and will last a lifetime!  We would also like to thank Floyd and Vernelle for the opportunity to build their beautiful natural stone wall.

At the end of the day it's nice to just relax!  Outdoor living is more popular than ever and as you can tell very cozy and functional!  From fireplaces, to brick ovens, grills, water features, overhead structures, furniture, and more.  Its a great way to add value to your home and provide lots of fun for your family and friends.
